June 5: National Trails Day: New Mexico Rails -to-trails Association invites the public to attend the dedication of the Bridal Veil Falls Rail Trail in Fresnal Canyon at the 17th Annual National Trails Day Celebration scheduled  at 9 am Saturday June 5.

June 7-11: Science Mountain, Session #1:
Sacramento Mountains Historical Society presents our second annual Science Mountain program! Two sessions are available for children going in to grades 4-6. Session 1 will be June 7-11 and Session 2 will be June 14-18. Students will learn about Fractals in Nature, Build a Japanese Soroban, Create Platonic Solids, Explore the Art/Math connection, See the Da Vinci Experience, Learn about Tesselations, Tangrams, Timelines and more! The program includes field trips, Make & Take projects, a T-shirt, meals, goodies and an overnight campout! Cost per child is $150. Space is limited so make your reservations early.
